James is a globally recognised publishing and sync expert. He recently completed 10 years as Head of Sync at Sony Music Publishing, the world’s biggest music publisher.
Among many successes, James secured the sync for four of the most recent John Lewis Christmas TV adverts, seen as a crowning achievement in the industry, as well as numerous placements for Sony, Nike, Adidas, Audi, BT, and Barclaycard and others.
Before working in the music industry, James worked in advertising and film production at Grand Central Studios, Saatchi & Saatchi, Revolution Films and MTV Europe
James now advises MIDI’s clients on all aspects of publishing and sync, as well as running Rocket Science, a fast-growing independent sync agency.
