Gwendolenn Sharp is the founder of The Green Room, a non-profit organisation developing strategies for environmental and social change in the music industry. For over 10 years, Gwendolenn has worked with cultural institutions, festivals and environmental NGOs across Europe. Since 2016, she has co-created solutions with musicians and technicians towards low-carbon touring, carrying out assessments, awareness-raising and operational training regarding sustainable practices for the cultural sector.
She has worked over many years with major festival organisers, cultural institutions and NGOs across EMEA on concert production, tour management, project design and international cooperation. She was organiser of the EuroMed Music Festival for several years and has held a variety of senior roles in governmental and semi-governmental cultural institutions.
Gwendolenn is a regular speaker at major music industry conventions, she is an assessor for A Greener Festival (UK), an active member of the REEVE-Eco-Events Network (France) and is a JUMP fellow.
